Biography

2011-12

Medd began her career down south playing for the University of Texas Brownsville Ocelots. That season UTB posted a 17-3-1 record that year and Medd appeared in 20 matches.

2012-13

In her second season in Brownsville, Medd’s number of games played dipped but her offensive numbers improved. In 16 matches Medd directed four shots on goal and managed to add an assist.

2013-14

Medd transferred from the University of Texas Brownsville to Mount Royal and was forced to sit out the entire season.

2014-15

In her first season as a Cougar, Medd started all 11 games that she appeared in registering one shot on net. The Calgary, Alberta product is not known for scoring, but for her steady defence on the back end. 

2015-16

Medd had another exceptional season will the Cougars as the stabilizing force on the backend. She played in and started 13 games for the Cougars in 2015-16 and chipped in offensively with one assist. She was also nominated for the Brian Fleming Award for the best all-around student athlete in Cougar Athletics.
