Colin Mackay

    Women's Soccer Assistant Coach

Originally born in Toronto, Ont., Colin Mackay moved to Calgary as a young boy and eventually graduated from Bishop Grandin High School. In his post-secondary career, Mackay played with the SAIT Trojan's men's soccer team from 1999-2001 and then joined the University of Calgary Dinos from 2001-02. 

After his playing career concluded, Mackay used his Business Administration - Management & Marketing and Economic/Statistics degree and National B License / NCCP Certified / Soccer Management & Scouting / Youth License Enrollment education to pursue a career in soccer coaching and operations. Since 2009 Mackay has led the Foothills Soccer Club Soccer operations along with the position of head coach for the U18 Canada Soccer National Championships from Foothills in 2009 and as a support coach for the U15 Foothills Canada Soccer National Champions in 2019. 

In 2014, Mackay joined the Cougars as the assistant coach for the women's soccer program and continues with the goal of developing players both on and off the pitch.Â
