Jordan Colliton

Colliton is in her 7th season with the Cougars women’s hockey program. She has helped guide the Cougars to their first Canada West Finals appearance, as well as their first U SPORTS National Championship Tournament appearance (2019-20). Together with Coach Rivett they have set program first’s with – in season win’s, 1st Canada West playoff appearance, 1st Canada West playoff series win, 1st Canada West playoff home ice advantage, MRU’s first Canada West Silver Medal, and U SPORTS quarterfinal win.

In addition to her coaching duties at the university level, Colliton has also worked with the Canadian National Team as a coach during the National Women’s Under-18 Team Summer Selection Showcase (2019-21). 

Prior to her arrival at MRU, Colliton worked 4 Years at the Prep School level, with Ontario Hockey Academy and Pursuit of Excellence. Furthermore, Colliton worked with Hockey Alberta in their Female High Performance Program for 9 years. Colliton is also NCCP Hockey Canada High Performance 1 Certified.

A native of Blackie, Alta., Colliton a 2011 graduate of The University of Maine earned a BSc. in Kinesiology and Physical Education. As a Black Bear she played 120 games, was a Captain, a member of NCAA Division I SAAC-AAB and a Scholar Athlete.
