Biography

2013-14

Nazari, known for his defensive prowess, plays close to the edge every time he steps onto the pitch. He racked up three yellow cards and made a name for himself in his rookie season. Each and every striker on the opposing team knew when Nazari was chasing down a 50/50 ball. 

2014-15

Nazari had ten shots on goal, which was the fourth most among all Mount Royal defenders. Those ten shots were also a career high for Nazari who is more commonly known as a hard-nosed defender. In his career, he has racked up seven yellow cards and one red card. 

2015-16

Nazari appeared in all but one of the Cougars’ matches in 2015-16. He managed one shot on goal on one attempt. The 5’8 defender has never been shy to go hard into tackles against much bigger opponents. This season he had a career-low three yellow cards to add to his career total of 10.

2016-17

Nazari did not play in the 2016-17 season due to injury
