Biography

2011-12

Blake appeared in ten games for the Cougars during the regular season. After leading the Cougars to a second place finish in the regular season, Mount Royal fell in the semi-finals to NAIT. They later lost the bronze medal game to Medicine Hat.

2012-13

Blake did not play in 2012-13.

2013-14

After a year off, Blake returned to the Cougars for their second CIS season. In 11 games, Blake had one assist and one point in 11 games played. He also played alongside his brother Trevor Blake.

2014-15

Blake did not play in 2014-15. 

2015-16

After a year away from the squad in 2014-15, Blake looked right back at home in the Cougars’ midfield. The veteran appeared in 10 games for the Cougars, starting all of them. He managed two shots on goal in what was a mostly defensive-minded campaign. 

2016-17

Blake played every game in the 2016-17 season, racking up 3 points. Blake assisted the game winning goal against the University of Calgary October 12, 2016 which propelled the Cougars back into the playoffs.
