Biography

2012-13

The Cranbook, BC native came to Mount Royal as the most heralded recruit in program history. In his first season he did not disappoint, scoring twice and adding two assists to lead Mount Royal in all major statistical categories. Cook was one of the many bright spots in an otherwise difficult season for the Cougars.

2013-14

Cody again led Mount Royal in goals with eight and points with ten in 2013. Cook had double the amount of goals and points than his next closest teammate. The heart and soul of the Cougars is known for his excellent vision and ability to make the players around him better.

2014-15

Cook tied for the team lead in goals last season with four, despite playing in less than half the Cougars’ games. His year was cut short due to a season ending concussion he suffered against the Winnipeg Wesman. He finished with a shooting percentage of 31% and was named the Muscle Milk Athlete of the Month in October.

2015-16

In another remarkable season, Cody Cook led all players in scoring with 13 points. He led the Cougars in goals (5), assists (8) and shots (30). He was named to the Canada West First All-Star Team and is now holds every offensive record for the Cougars in Canada West play.
