Scott Ansel originates from the South West of England where he played Semi-Professional football before moving to Winnipeg in 2010 to compete in the Canadian U SPORTS League. Ansel enjoyed a successful University career finishing his 5th year by helping the team qualify for playoffs and completing a Double Major Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and English.

In 2015, Ansel began working at the Manitoba Soccer Association as the Grassroots Manager and working his way in to other various leadership positions. Before leaving Manitoba, Ansel led the province to second place in the Western Canada Summer Games, he then joined Calgary Rangers Soccer Club in 2019. 

At Rangers Scott was the Boys U9-U19 Academy Director, Director of Coaching & Performance, and 2006 & 2007 AYSL Boys Head Coach. With Rangers attaining the CSA National Youth License standards Scott helped support the Club in establishing itself as one of the leading organizations in Alberta. Whilst at Rangers, Scott  joined the Mount Royal Men’s University coaching staff. 


Ansel holds his Canada Soccer (CSA) Children’s, National Youth, & B-License, and is currently taking his CSA A-License.
