Biography

2011-12

The former Calgary Hitmen (WHL) captain, started his CIS career with the University of Calgary Dinos. In just six games for the Dinos, Fiddler scored three goals and was a +1.

2012-13

Fiddler’s numbers improved dramatically in his sophomore season as he registered 18 points in just 16 games for the Dinos. At the holiday break, Fiddler decided to transfer to Mount Royal and was forced to sit out the remainder of the season. 

2013-14

After sitting out the first 18 games of the season, Tyler had a stellar debut with the Cougars scoring nine points in ten games after being off for an entire calendar year. He helped lead Mount Royal to the post season where managed one assist in the Cougars’ three game series loss to Manitoba. 

2014-15

Fiddler broke out in a big way during his first full season with Mount Royal. The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native averaged over a point per game, scoring 31 in 28 games. He was second on the team in scoring, only to linemate Cody Cartier and was named a Canada West Second Team All-Star.
