2014-15

The two-year captain of the Lloydminster Bobcats appeared in 23 contests for Mount Royal in his rookie season. Baker’s rugged play earned him some substantial ice time on the back end. Baker recorded his first ever CIS goal against Saskatchewan on Nov. 7. In the first round of the playoffs he notched two assists and recorded seven shots on goal.

2015-16

Grant Baker had a breakout sophomore season after a tough rookie season. Baker set career-highs in goals (3), assists (9), points (12) and plus/minus (+13). He also saw some time on the power play where he looked very confortable in the Cougars’ first round series against UBC.
