Biography

2012-13

Marshall joined the Cougars in 2012-13 after two seasons in the BCHL with the Merritt Centennials. He dressed in all 28 games of his rookie season, recording an impressive eight points from the Cougars’ back end.

2013-14

Marshall’s offensive production increased in 2013-14, despite only dressing in 23 games. The Smithers, British Columbia native had 11 points and improved his plus/minus rating to -6. Marshall scored a clutch goal in the Cougars’ first round playoff series against the Bisons which helped MRU extend the series to a third game.

2014-15

In his third season with the Cougars, Marshall was converted to a power forward. He played on the edge and provided a lot of energy on the Cougars’ fourth line. In all he tallied five points in 19 games was a -1. 

2015-16

Marshall moved from defence to forward permanently in 2015-16 and became an important energy player for the Cougars. Marshall appeared in 18 games for Mount Royal, tallying three points (2G, 1A). Marshall also managed 30 shots and a -3 rating.
