2015-16

Layton''s rookie campaign may go down as one of the best in CIS history. Layton led the Cougars in every major category this season and was tops in the nation in shot blocks. Brett had a double double in 14 of 20 games and averaged that stat throughout the season. He was named the to Canada West All-Rookie team and was named the MRU Rookie Male Athlete of the Year.
