Lau played her club soccer last season for the Calgary Northside Titanium. Her squad won the Alberta Outdoor Provincials (Tier 2) in both 2013 and 2015. For her high school side, Sir Winston Churchill High School, Lau was named MVP and was a Female Athlete of the Year Nominee. She was also a CSHSAA Calgary Booster Club nominee.
