Gibb came off the bench 19 times last season and was the team’s secondary ball handler behind Verney. Gibb’s tenacious defense helped lead Mount Royal to its first and only CIS weekend sweep over the UNBC Timberwolves. She played a career-high 26 minutes in the Cougars 58-52 win over UNBC in late November. Gibb was the starting point guard at E.P. Scarlett High School before signing at Mount Royal. She was also a Tournament All-Star at the 2014 St. Albert Paul Kane Invitational Tournament.
