Eric did not see a lot of court time, playing libero behind perennial all-star Jordan Or. In 17 sets, he collected seven assists and nine digs. Borton was recruited out of the 204 Volleyball Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. That same squad advanced to the provincial championships. Borton was named to the All-star Team.
