Biography

2012-13

Houston’s rookie campaign in 2012-13 was an exemplary one. The first year striker appeared in 12 matches for Mount Royal starting eight of them. He let go four shots with three on target. Kyle received only one caution in what was an undisciplined season for the Cougars.

2013-14

The Calgary, Alberta native appeared in only five games for Mount Royal in 2013-14. The second year striker managed only shot and 141 minutes of playing time. Nagging injuries limited Houston’s playing time early in the year.

2014-15

Houston appeared in the first two games of the season against MacEwan in 2014-15. He was then forced to forfeit the remainder of his season due to an academic ineligibility. 

2015-16

In Houston’s return to the pitch in 2015-16 he was inserted into six games for the Cougars. He scored two goals including the game winner in the Cougars’ 3-0 win over MacEwan on Oct. 17.
