Biography

2014-15

Colin Cooper played his entire Alberta Junior Hockey League career for the Calgary Canucks and was the pillar of their hockey club. Despite never having a team with a winning record, Colin managed to put up very impressive junior numbers, leaving the AJHL with an all-time save percentage of 0.902%. In three seasons for the Canucks, Cooper played in 137 of 180 regular season games.

2015-16

Cooper was thrust into the starting role when Cam Lanigan went down with injury. Cooper took the job and ran with it, posting the best numbers of Cougars’ goaltender since entering the CIS. In 19 games, Cooper went 13-6 posting a 2.30 goals against average and a brilliant .913 save percentage. He was named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team and was named the Cougars Rookie of the Year at Cougar Night.
