The MRU Cougars remain in the U SPORTS Top 10 despite a loss and a tie, moving back three spots to number 10.
The Cougars' men's soccer program returned home on Saturday for a rematch of the 2023 and 2024 Canada West Championship.
Unfortunately, the Cougars were defeated by the UBC Thunderbirds 2-0
They had their shot at redemption the next day as they faced off against the UNBC Timberwolves.
A late goal by
Chanan Chanda tied the game up at three, giving the Cougars a point on the weekend.
The Cougars will head to Edmonton this weekend to take on MacEwan Saturday at 12:00 PM and Alberta Sunday at 2:15 PM.
