Connor Bouchard, a key asset to the Cougars, has clinched the prestigious title of U SPORTS Player of the Year (Senator Joseph A. Sullivan Trophy), solidifying his position as the best player in the country. His exceptional contributions on the ice, whether unleashing powerful shots or orchestrating critical plays, have been integral to the team's success, bringing well-deserved recognition to the Mount Royal Cougars.

Not to be overshadowed, the Cougars' netminder, Shane Farkas, has been named U SPORTS Goalie of the Year. Farkas' remarkable performances between the pipes have been a cornerstone of the team's defense, showcasing impeccable reflexes and unyielding composure under pressure. As the best goaltender in Canadian collegiate hockey, Farkas's prowess has undoubtedly played a crucial role in the Mount Royal Cougars' accomplishments on the ice.
