RICHMOND HILL, Ont. - Quinn Pelland of the Mount Royal University women's volleyball team has been named the U SPORTS Women's Volleyball Player of the week for the period ending February 5, 2023. The full details of Pelland's performance is below:

Quinn Pelland of the No. 3-ranked Mount Royal Cougars had a pair of massive performances against the Alberta Pandas last week. Pelland put up 27 assists and 13 digs to lead the Cougars to a 3-0 win and put their winning streak to six. The next evening, the Business major posted an outstanding 50 assists and 19 digs to lead the Cougars to a four-set victory over the Pandas. Pelland now sits third in the conference in assists per set with 9.54. Mount Royal is back in action this Friday as they are set to host the Brandon Bobcats.
