The MRU Cougars men's soccer team is headed to the U SPORTS National Championship and will play in their quarterfinal matchup versus the No. 8 York Lions next Thursday.

Following an outstanding playoff performance, through which the Cougars gave fans much to cheer about, they are headed to the U SPORTS National Championship for the first time in program history. This year's championship is hosted by Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As the No. 1 seed, Mount Royal will first face the No. 8 York Lions, who finished second in the OUA this season.
