Shawn Sky's Quote:
Jordan Or had a terrific first season in Canada West. He's such an intelligent player, its like having an assistant coach on the floor. He changes the way we play our system and impacts the way teams play us. He's a special talent and we are thrilled he was recognized for his efforts and his quality of play.ÂÂ

Colton ranked third in average points per set with 4.72 Pts/Set and kills with 4.16 K/Set. Colton was also in the top ten in service aces averaging 0.27 per serve. Opposing teams always knew when de Man was on the court and had to adjust accordingly. Colton appeared in all 83 sets the Cougars played this season.
Coach
Shawn Sky's Quote: Colton had an exceptional final season and career at Mount Royal. He has a big future ahead of him in our sport. Its great to see his hard work rewarded. What he was able to accomplish this year with the amount of focus on him and the volume we needed from him was impressive. He's a special person and a special player.

Riley had an excellent Rookie season, often coming off the bench to bring some energy to his squad. He ranked third on the team with 2.04 kills per set behind only
Colton de Man and
Jordan Parkin. Friesen was also third on the Cougars in scoring averaging 2.65 points per set, one of the highest totals for rookies in the conference. The Calgary, Alberta native will be a driving force for the team's success next season with the departure of a number of veterans.
Coach
Shawn Sky's Quote: Riley worked hard to develop his game. As a rookie, it was a big step forward. He made some quality adjustments technically and mentally. He has a lot of potential. If he continues to make similar strides and demonstrates the same work ethic, he has a great opportunity to reach his potential.ÂÂ
