A 57-50 lead heading into the final 10 minutes of play was not enough of a lead to relax against a team who had come out and won the night before.
Awet Abraha (Calgary, AB) hit two threes to try and close the gap during the fourth quarter but the Timberwolves answered with their own from fifth year guard Joel Rybachuk (Vernon, BC).
After 40 minutes of play the UNBC Timberwolves finish the season 6-16 with an 83-68 win over the Mount Royal Cougars. The Cougars finish the season at 5-17.
