Morgan Stanton

Morgan has been with Mount Royal University since September 2014, serving as the Aquatic Centre Supervisor. Morgan holds numerous certifications from the Alberta Association of Recreation Facility Personnel, including Pool Operators Levels I and II, as well as Pool Operators Level I Instructor. He also holds several certifications from the Lifesaving Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, including Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor, and National Lifeguard Instructor. Additionally, Morgan is a certified First Aid Instructor, Instructor Trainer, and S.E.E Auditor. He holds Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C certifications from the Red Cross.

Morgan’s extensive experience includes working as a lifeguard and instructor, personal trainer, peer mentor, and assistant physiotherapist. He earned his Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan.

Throughout his tenure at MRU, Morgan has served in various roles, including Aquatic Team Lead for Operations and Programs, where he oversaw critical functions related to aquatic management and program development.
