Kim Marchand

Kim has been a dedicated member of Mount Royal University since February 2004, bringing with her a wealth of experience in facility management and athletics. With a Project Management Certification from MRU and a strong background in recreation and sport, Kim has built a career marked by versatility and leadership.

Before joining MRU, Kim honed her skills at Lakeland College, where she played a key role in athletics and managed a wide range of programs, from building climbing walls and running outdoor education centres to coordinating aquatics and intramural schedules. She also organized martial arts tournaments across Western Canada, gaining invaluable perspective on facility operations from a client standpoint.

Over the years at MRU, Kim has served in a variety of roles, including Customer Service Team Lead and Manager, Facility Bookings Administrator, Operations Assistant, Facility Usage Coordinator, and now Facility Operations Supervisor. Her deep knowledge of recreation facilities and her commitment to operational excellence make her an essential leader in supporting the development and smooth day-to-day function of MRU’s athletic spaces.
