Erin Hamilton

Erin completed her nutrition degree in Nova Scotia at St. Francis Xavier University, where she also completed an integrated dietetic internship with training across clinical, community health, and sport nutrition settings.

Since starting her career as a Registered Dietitian, Erin has worked across a range of high-performance sport environments. Through her work with the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta, she currently supports national-level athletes, including Canada’s 3×3 basketball and fencing teams. She also works with the Calgary Flames development program, supporting athletes from junior and collegiate levels through to the NHL, and has served as the team dietitian for the Calgary Hitmen.

At the university level, Erin is the lead performance dietitian at Mount Royal University, working with all varsity teams, and consults with Dinos Football at the University of Calgary.

Erin has earned her Level 1 ISAK certification, an international qualification in body composition assessment. She has also completed Mental Health First Aid training and is currently completing the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in Sports Nutrition, a comprehensive global program designed to advance expertise in fueling elite and high-performance athletes.Â
