Mount Royal University Cougars Athletics & Recreation

Carmen began working with Cougars student-athletes in fall 2024 after many years as an Academic Advisor in the Bissett School of Business. As the Athlete Services Strategist and a member of the Integrated Support Team, she supports student-athletes and coaches with academic planning, scholarships and awards, as well as eligibility and compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Northern British Columbia, where she was the first scorekeeper for the UNBC Timberwolves basketball teams as they began play in what is now PacWest, though she proudly bleeds blue now.

When she's not working with student-athletes or cheering on the Cougars most weekends, Carmen loves to travel and has visited 70 countries to date, including watching Cougars alumni play professionally overseas. A die-hard Canucks fan, she firmly believes that next season could be the season... and she’ll keep saying that every year until it is.
