Aaron Hilson joined Mount Royal University in November 2023 as the Sports Information Supervisor. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing media relations, content creation, and promoting MRU’s varsity sports programs. Aaron’s expertise in sports communications ensures that the achievements of student-athletes and teams are highlighted across various platforms.
Before joining MRU, Aaron worked as a Sports Information Assistant at U SPORTS, where he gained valuable experience in managing media relations, producing game previews and recaps, and handling social media communications for university-level sports. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with a specialization in Sport Media from Ryerson University, where he developed a strong foundation in sports journalism, broadcasting, and digital media.
