Mount Royal University has been providing recreation opportunities to enrich the lives of students, employees, and Calgary community members for decades. The existing facility opened on September 21, 2002 and features more than 180,00 sq. feet of activity spaces.
In the spring of 2021, full-time and casual staff members conducted a Why Discovery to uncover MRU Recreation’s collective purpose and the unique contribution we make to the Mount Royal University community. Alignment with and living by the following WHY and HOW statements is what we strive for each and every day.
