Diversity and Inclusion Podcast Series

The Diversity and Inclusion series on the We Are The Cougars podcast was created in December 2020 to educate, inspire and lead our community forward in addressing issues of racism and oppression. Topics covered in this four-part series are:

  • diversity and inclusion
  • cultural competency
  • unconscious bias
  • unpacking privilege

After listening to these podcasts we invite you to share them and encourage you to discuss the topics covered with your friends and family. It is up to each of us to prioritize conversations on diversity and inclusion and become allies in this work.

How to be an ally:

  • do the work to educate yourself
  • listen to those with lived experiences
  • recognize your personal bias and privilege
  • ask questions and seek understanding
  • volunteer to support issues of diversity and inclusion
