Biography
2011-12
Julia began her post-secondary career in the ACAC with the Medicine Hat Rattlers of the ACAC. She had a team-high 41 service aces in 67 sets played for MHC. Her 1.16 kills per set was highest amongst rookies.
2012-13
Kryzan got into the game more often during her second season with the Rattlers appearing in 77 sets. Her numbers declined slightly as she only managed 34 service aces and a 0.87 kills per set average. She transferred to the University of Saskatchewan at the end of the volleyball season.
2013-14
The Calgary native spent the 2013-14 campaign with the Saskatchewan Huskies. With the Huskies Julia dressed for 13 games playing only 23 sets. She registered five kills, three errors and a hitting percentage of .167%. Kryzan put in for transfer to Mount Royal after the conclusion of the semester.
2014-15
Kryzan was forced to sit out the entire 2014-15 after transferring from the University of Saskatchewan.
2015-16
Kryzan was fifth on the Cougars in both points per set (2.2) and kills per set (1.29) in her first full season with MRU. In her first year since transferring from the Saskatchewan Huskies, she established herself as one of the Cougars’ top offensive threats.
