Players Bench Male Athlete of the Week: Kale Orr

Despite ultimately losing in the Canada West play-in series, the Cougars men's volleyball team put up a valiant effort until the very last point, led by none other than Kale Orr. 

On Thursday, Orr led the Cougars to a 3-1 win over the Calgary Dinos, posting game highs in kills (22) and digs (10) on the night. 

Orr contributed to the balanced attack in Thursday night's action, posting 13 kills to go along with seven digs in the loss. 

In the deciding game on Saturday night, Orr stepped his play up an even higher notch, contributing a game-high 26 kills, averaging 5.2 kills per set in the game. Orr also led the game with three aces.

Orr is a first-year business student from Magrath, Alberta.
