Players Bench Female Athlete of the Week: Scout Anderson

Scout Anderson proved to be unbeatable for the MRU Cougars as she posted a shutout in her final start of the regular season, and helped the Cougars clinch the East Division in their 4-0 win over the Saskatchewan Huskies back on Friday. 
Anderson turned away all 13 shots she faced and now has her sights set on taking the Cougars on a deep run into the postseason. Anderson and the Cougars await the winner of Manitoba and the University of Alberta.
Scout Anderson is a fourth year Health & Phys. Ed student from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Players Bench Male Athlete of the Week: Teague Patton 

Teague Patton was instrumental to the MRU Cougars division-clinching weekend. He had four shots in a 3-2 Cougars win over Saskatchewan on Friday, a victory that set the stage for a first place showdown on Saturday.
 
Patton stepped up in the regular season finale, leading MRU to a 6-4 win that clinched first place in the East Division and the first round playoff bye that comes with it. He snapped an eight-game goalless drought by notching a pair of tallies in the contest, also adding an assist on Kyle Walker's game-winning goal.

Teague Patton is a second year Business student from Kelowna, British Columbia.
