Players Bench Female Athlete of the Week: Gabrielle Linford

Gabrielle Linford earns this week's Players Bench Female Athlete of the Week honours after delivering a standout weekend for the Cougars. In Game 1, Linford scored three of Mount Royal's five goals in a 5-0 victory over the Alberta Pandas. She followed that performance by coming off the bench in the second half of Game 2 to help lead the Cougars to a 1-0 win over the MacEwan Griffins. Linford's offensive impact and leadership helped Mount Royal secure two wins on the weekend.

Players Bench Male Athlete of the Week: Dylan Annala

Dylan Annala earns this week's Players Bench Male Athlete of the Week honours after leading the Cougars offensively in both matches against the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack. In the opening game, Annala recorded 13 kills to help Mount Royal secure a 3-1 victory. He followed up with another strong performance in Game 2, recording 10 kills and five blocks to help the Cougars earn another 3-1 win and complete the weekend sweep of the Wolfpack. Annala's consistent offensive production and defensive contributions played a key role in Mount Royal's success.
