With a handful of kills from Tasha Holness and and Park they pulled into the lead. Winnipeg was close on their tails for the entire set, but Mount Royal managed to seal it with a kill from Cassidy Kitchen.

The Wesmen took an early lead with a series of kills, Schulz setting the pace. They held onto the lead by nailing their kills. Mount Royal was trying to find their momentum, but were struggling against their opponents defenses. The Cougars managed to narrow the score to four with a quick burst of kills, but the Wesmen closed the set with a block.

Winnipeg once again took their lead early on, capitalizing on kills to disorientate the home team.
