Women's Soccer 
 
Record: 4-7-1 (6th Prairie Division)

Scoring Leader(s): Kelsey Kinzner (2G, 3A, 5Pts), Emily Sands (3G, 1A, 4Pts)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Fri. Sept. 26 vs. Manitoba â€" Reaghan Zilkie scored on a late game header to give the Cougars a 3-2 win and snap a four game losing streak.
 
Playoff Result: Did Not Qualify

Recap: The Cougars showed some positive progression this season, tying the Calgary Dinos and defeating the Manitoba Bisons. They did however struggle to score goals, scoring only 13 in 12 games. They capped off the season on a winning note, defeating Winnipeg twice in a row.

Men's Soccer
 
Record: 2-8-2 (7th Prairie Division)

Scoring Leader(s): Cody Cook (4G, 2A, 6Pts), Kyle Rushton (4G, 4Pts)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Sat. & Sun. Oct. 18, 19 vs. Saskatchewan- Already eliminated from the playoffs, the Cougars showed a lot of heart defeating then tying the first place Saskatchewan Huskies to send their fifth year players out in style.
 
Playoff Result: Did Not Qualify
 
Recap: The Cougars were marred by their two forfeit losses (ineligible player) all season. After they were forced to vacate their wins over MacEwan, they could not find a rhythm and then the injuries began to mount. They did manage to take four of a possible six points off the eventual Canada West Champions, the Saskatchewan Huskies.

Women's Hockey
 
Record: 6-17-5 (7th Canada West)

Notable Game(s): 
Sat. Oct. 4 vs. Calgary â€" The Cougars defeated the second place Calgary Dinos in a shootout. Rookie goaltender Emma Pincott stopped Russian Olympian Iya Gavrilova to seal the victory.
Thu. Jan. 15 vs. Calgary â€" Mount Royal once again toppled the Dinos, this time on the biggest stage of all. The Cougars won 3-2 for the first time ever at the Crowchild Classic Saddledome Game. Mount Royal scored two quick goals and never looked back, holding on for the victory in front of nearly 9,000 screaming fans.

Recap: The Cougars found their stride in the second half posting four wins, two of which over the Calgary Dinos. Their future looks awfully bright as some young stars emerged in Emma Pincott and Shawni Rodeback who were both named to the Canada West All-Rookie Team. With a strong crop of recruits on the horizon, the Cougars will have a solid core for a long time to come.

Men's Hockey
 
Record: 17-10-1 (3rd Canada West)

Scoring Leader(s): Cody Cartier (14G, 25A, 39 Pts), Tyler Fiddler (8G, 23A, 31Pts)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Fri. Oct. 3 vs. Calgary â€" The Cougars made a statement defeating the Calgary Dinos, the nation's second-ranked team, 3-1. The players put on a show in front of over 500 rowdy fans. The win put the Cougars in the CIS National Top Ten for the first time ever.
Sun. Feb. 22 vs. Saskatchewan â€" Facing elimination after a poor showing against the Huskies in Game 2 of the Canada West Quarterfinals, Mount Royal put in an extremely gritty effort to win the game and the series. The 3-0 win sealed the Cougars' first ever playoff series victory in the Canada West conference.
 
Playoff Result: QF â€" W 2-1 over Saskatchewan, SF â€" L 2-1 to Calgary
 
Recap: The Cougars are no longer Canada West's best kept secret. Emerging this season as a conference power, Mount Royal was one period away from a trip to the finals and the CIS University Cup. Their playoff run brought fans, students and fellow student athletes together with an immense display of Cougar pride. The top line of Cody Cartier, Matt Brown and Tyler Fiddler will all be back in 2015-16.

Women's Volleyball
 
Record: 5-19 (12th Canada West)

Scoring Leader(s): Fallon Middlemiss (3.4 Pts/Set), Mikayla Fritzke (2.9 Pts/Set)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Sat. Oct. 11 vs. Brandon â€" The Cougars won a thrilling five-setter against the Brandon Bobcats, one of the top teams in the conference.
Fri. Jan. 30 vs. UBC Okanagan â€" For the second time, the Cougars toppled a national power. MRU defeated UBC Okanagan in five sets. The Heat were the top-ranked team in the country when Mount Royal stunned them on Kenyon Court.
 
Playoff Result: Did Not Qualify
 
Recap: Injuries plagued the Cougars and forced veterans in and out of the lineup for the majority of the season. The silver lining was the emergence of several key rookies. Cougar rookies Alex Runge and Amy Gordon were two of the most consistent players for MRU this season.

Men's Volleyball
 
Record: 11-13 (10th Canada West)

Scoring Leader(s): Jordan Parkin (3.2 Pts/Set), Tyler Schmidt (2.9 Pts/Set)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Sat. Nov. 15 vs. TWU â€" The Cougars defeated the TWU, who at the time were ranked in the Top 5. The Cougars came back from two sets down to win the game in an amazing five set marathon.
Fri. Feb. 6 vs. Alberta â€" With their playoff hopes in the balance, Mount Royal fell behind 2-0 early in their match with the champs. The Cougars showed a lot of guts, clawing back to force a fifth set. In the fifth set they nearly squeaked out a victory, leading 11-10 before Alberta pulled away.
 
Playoff Result: Did Not Qualify
 
Recap: Mount Royal stumbled out of the gate in the second half of the season losing six of their final eight games. The slide took them out of a playoff spot, missing by just two wins. They did however prove they could hang with the nation's best, taking the national champion Golden Bears to five sets, twice in the final games of the year.

Women's Basketball
 
Record: 6-14 (T-4th Explorers Division)

Scoring Leader(s): Jayla Verney (14.3 PPG), Desiree Oakley  (9.8 PPG)
 
Notable Game(s): 
Fri. & Sat. Nov. 21, 22 at UNBC â€" The Cougars earned their first ever weekend sweep of an opponent since joining Canada West two years ago.
Sat. Nov. 31 vs. UFV â€" Mount Royal played their best team game of the season when they defeated UFV 79-72 in overtime. The Cougars limited perennial all-star Sarah Wierks to only 12 points, while Desiree Oakley had a huge statement game, dropping 30 points to prove she is not just a defensive specialist.

Recap: The youngest team in the conference, often played like the youngest team in the conference, making a lot of common rookie mistakes. Those rookies are now battle tested and will likely develop into one of the strongest cores of players in the conference.

Men's Basketball
 
Record: 10-10 (4th Explorer Divison)

Scoring Leader(s): James Lefebvre (13.3 PPG), Deng Awak (12.4 PPG) 
 
Notable Game(s): 
Fri. Nov. 14 vs. UBC Okanagan â€" The Cougars had a strong offensive performance including a 33-point performance from fifth year, Deng Awak.
Sun. Feb. 1 vs. UFV â€" Mount Royal stunned the unbeaten UFV Cascades handing them their first loss of the season. In the final seconds Derek Wolf made a free throw to put MRU up two. The Cougars played hard defence on the highly contested final shot, earning the 74-72 victory.
 
Playoff Result: Did Not Qualify
 
Recap: The Cougars could never string together more than two wins in a row all season. Heading into the final weekend, Mount Royal needed to sweep MacEwan and needed some help from some other teams. The Cougars did their part but fell short of the playoffs when Thompson Rivers defeated UFV.
