The Cougars will now face the top ranked Calgary Dinos in a home-and-home series on Thursday and Friday. One win solidifies Mount Royal's spot in the post-season.

The Mount Royal Cougars men's volleyball team had a tough weekend, traveling to Brandon for their final regular season road trip. Despite the two losses, fourth-year Tyler Schmidt was consistent through both games. On Friday, the Business Administration student recorded a game-high 25.5 points. His 22 kills and ten digs made him the only player on the court to reach a double-double in the team's five-set loss. The following day, Schmidt added 15 kills and 11 digs to his totals for another double-double in the Cougars' 3-1 loss to the Bobcats.

The Cougars finish the regular season with a home-and-home series against the Calgary Dinos. Not mathematically out of playoff contention, the Cougars will need some help from other teams to get into the post season.
